Can Bilir is a strong advocate of any publication that encourages and carefully maintains the artistic and academic sustainability of the feeling of constructive community, peer-review, and fair protection of royalties and copyrights; including and not limited to university publishing, open-access resources, and publishing houses and online publishing that shares the similar concerns. 

 

Can Bilir's music scores and scholarly work is therefore, partially available through open access resources such as Cornell University Library, UCLA Contemporary Music Score Collection, and his own website. Bilir is a member of American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers both as a composer/writer & as a publisher under the label 'Can Bilir Publishing' since 2018.
